We started this after years of buying clothes we didn't keep.

The pattern was always the same. Something looked right online, arrived not quite matching the photo, and was out of rotation by the next season. Not because it fell apart — usually it just never became a thing we reached for. We'd spent the money and ended up with a wardrobe full of near-misses.

At some point that stopped feeling like bad luck and started feeling like how the industry works.

How we build

Fabric before silhouette. A piece can hang beautifully on a rail and be finished in three washes. We start with what it's made of: the weight of the cloth, how the colour holds, whether the seams are built to take strain. What photographs well matters less than what looks right after a year.

Everything measured. Every product page carries flat measurements in centimetres, the full composition, and the size worn by the model with their measurements alongside. You shouldn't have to guess and then deal with a return.

A short range, on purpose. We'd rather have twelve pieces people wear constantly than two hundred that blur together. That means turning a lot down, and it means we don't release something new every month. Some pieces are made in small runs and don't come back.

What's next

We're early.

The range will grow slowly and deliberately — a few pieces at a time, each one added because it was missing rather than to fill out a collection. Behind that, most of our attention goes to things you'll never see directly: sharper size guides, shorter lead times, and a support inbox where a person reads what you wrote and answers it properly.

We're not trying to grow quickly. We're trying to make sure the things you buy from us now are still in your wardrobe in five years.
